Attached are eight scenarios for discussion for the "activity" part of the Engaging Culture "Seen" Lesson. I've included the 3 samples that were given as well as 5 more. They are in a msword worksheet, so that they can be printed and handed out to each group.

The Scenarios are:
1. the tattoo and piercing guy
2. girl all alone at lunch
3. the hungry homeless guy
4. classmates at the movie theater
5. the golden compass
6. struggling with pornography
7. the promiscuous girl at school
8. the wine-cooler surprise

I guess I will just copy and paste the scenario text in here. The attachment doesn't appear to be working. You'll have to make your own worksheet.

Scenario Number One: “the tattoo and piercing guy”
A guy that has multiple tattoos and body piercing walks into Chipotle. He comes over and sits near you. Somehow over the course of the discussion, he mentions that he just got a brand new piercing.

Scenario Number Two: “girl all alone at lunch”
While eating your lunch with your friends you notice a girl sitting all alone. Your friends begin to joke about her.

Scenario Number Three: “the hungry homeless guy”
You are visiting the city when a homeless guy comes up and asks for a few bucks to buy some food.

Scenario Number Four: “classmates at the movie theater”
You and a few friends walk into the movie theater. You haven’t decided what movie to watch yet. Hanging out in the lobby you see a few of your classmates that you aren’t very close with but you recognize.

Scenario Number Five: “the golden compass”
A few of your really good friends want to go see the Golden Compass movie. You’ve heard that it is based on a book by a devout Atheist and is being used to promote atheistic ideas and draw people away from God.

Scenario Number Six: “struggling with pornography”
A friend of yours confides in you that he has been struggling with looking at pornography for about two years. He says that he thinks he might be addicted.

Scenario Number Seven: “the promiscuous girl at school”
You learn from a friend of a friend of a friend that a well known girl at school has been regularly having sex with he college boyfriend.

Scenario Number Eight: “the wine-cooler surprise”
A friend of yours invites you over to spend the night on a Friday night. After way too much pizza and several movies, your friend goes to the fridge and gets out a wine-cooler; she offers you one as well.
